| Another lake has been formed at Shamshal, north of the Attabad lake, due to melting of a glacier, reported a private TV channel on Sunday. Quoting sources, the TV channel said that Shamshal nullah was blocked in wake of the melting of a glacier, some 60 kilometres away from Hunza. Resultantly, another lake was spawned, where the water level is continuously going up, the channel added. The newly-formed lake has endangered some 170 villages. Meanwhile, teams have been sent to review the situation. | |
